In this classic rivalry, I look for both teams to be involved in a shootout as, while both teams have legit defenses, the offenses will take center stage.

My reasoning here is based on Green Bay's history of scoring more points in road games, and that both defenses--while good--are both made out to be better than this game's opposing offenses will show them to be.

Green Bay has struggled early on in games, and had they not settled for three field goals, would have put up 28 points last week against lowly Buffalo. They have posted first half totals of 13 points against both Philly and Buffalo, and again that is still while struggling to convert touchdowns, so I look for Green Bay to post somewhere between 14 and 20 points tonight as two weeks of film study and adjustments will allow Aaron Rogers and Co. to find some new goal line line approaches.

Meanwhile Chicago has been doing very well, scoring 13 points against Detroit and 20 over Dallas in its last two first half performances. This history works in our favor as it has brought Green Bay's line down to less than a field goal. I look for Jay Cutler to be a bit too excited out of the gates tonight, and will overthrow receivers and hold the ball too long early on. They will get it together for at least one touchdown, but will settle for a few field goals in a conservative approach to this divisional rivalry.

Green Bay will jump out early, and Chicago will pull close near halftime.
