i kinda like the vikings tonight. jets have had problems when they cant run the ball. and the vikings are tough against the D. it makes sanchez have to be even more in his game. i believe having moss is huge for the vikings. the vikings werent throwing the ball at all before, they didnt have their sidney rice and now they probably have an upgrade at one and a randy moss that is MOTIVATED(key). add in peterson still running and shiancoe and harvin and we may very well see the 2009 vikings tonight.


vikings are the more desperate team as well.

ps. brett favre will probably play 3 more years so he doenst have to go back home to deanna and get the beatdown.

I have leaned viking since the card was released. Trouble I have is why the line is so high, and has not moved.... Again as I have said a million times "fishy lines" / movement is not how I cap, but it is a small SMALL piece of it so worth mentioning... and this is one I can't understand. Funny thing for me is most of the lines that seem fishy to me normally are fine to others... and most of the lines that seem fishy to other seem totally fine tome.. Dunno... 4.5 sticking... Not sure. I have to imagine even though the vikes have had a rough start the oddmakers will expect $ to come in on them.. not only that is you got the moss facotor(would think they know about this before hand, but who knows.... im sure judge could give us some inside on how places operate.. but I won't hold my breathe lol). Obvioulsy I don't know where the ""public"" is on this one, but my guess is many many take pts with vikes (CM poll not a real good indicator though because most CM cappers base their wagering around strict anti-public strategy.. for whatever reason.)

Anyways... still lean vikes, and hoping I am just reading too much into it with the jets on a run here/preseason hype. Another thing to consider is a few returning for the jets... not sure how much this will help with time off. I may just hold out on this one hoping for a vikes win so I can pounce on dallas +3-4 next week.

Personally played the over, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Vikes win this. Brett has a history of coming up with a big game as soon as everyone thinks he's totally lost it or whatever personal issue he's having at the time is just too distracting for him.

Plus, these don't-make-sense short dogs (NYG, Wash, Chi, Oak, TB, etc.) are barking this week. Lots of reasons to like NYJ tonight, and that might be the reason to take Minny.
