Monday Night Leaf
Both Brett Favre and Brad Childress acknowledged this week that the Vikings' offense needs to run through Adrian Peterson, and this would be a darn fine week to get back to that. The Bears have been terrible against the run this season, and Peterson has always run well at Soldier Field. The Vikings have to come out tomorrow night and play smash mouth football. Vikes look healthy while the Bears have bigger injury problems. Defensive end Adewale Ogunleye (leg) is out, strong safety Kevin Payne (ankle) is doubtful and defensive end Gaines Adams (ankle), free safety Al Afalava (knee), wide receiver Devin Hester (calf) and punter Brad Maynard (groin) are questionable. As bad as the Vikings have been in prime time this year, the Bears have been worse. Should be nice and cold with some 20 mph winds tonight to boot...........
