Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Vikings are "very close" to acquiring Randy Moss from the Patriots.
How's that for a shocker? Per CSN New England's Tom Curran, the Pats' compensation is "rumored" to be a third-rounder. Multiple reports are now emerging to corroborate. The deal can't be finalized until the Vikings work out a new contract for Moss, which Glazer says the sides are currently addressing. Brett Favre has long pined for deep threat Moss as a teammate. It looks like he's going to get his wish, putting to rest speculation that he could walk away later this season if the Vikes don't turn it around.

Vikings trying to steal Twins thunder with the playoffs starting tomorrow. This is insane if true. Why would NE a playoff contending team trade their number 1 receiver?

He hardly looks like he's even trying anymore in New England. They can put anyone there to do what he's doing

If I had to guess I would say there was some sort of a fallout following Moss' 0 catch game on Monday Night Football.

He has already soured on the team for not extending him.

How sick could this be if Moss and Rice lineup together later on this season with Harvin out of the slot.

Yeah, Favre's fantasy stock is going to skyrocket if this deal comes through.

is it just me or was the handshake between belecheck and moss a little odd last night. just as the game was about to end.

moss gets zero catches and belecheck's 1st handshake is to moss...something was in the works yesterday.
