How can I guarantee a maximum profit... i never hedge, usually just ride it out... and I don't know if I should be hedging my Risk which is $125 or the $1400 that i could potentially win.... plz help

heck of a payout with a 4 teamer when one is -200 ... wow.

play the islanders for $350 .... you either make $450 roughly if isles win or $1050 if the canucks win

if it were me i would do something with New York Islanders +1.5 -168

to try and hit both

maybe do 700 wins 400 on that line.. if vancover wins u get at least 700+.. if both happens u get 1800+ and if islanders win u get 275 on ur overall bet (+400-125 original)

well...i didn't hedge because like i said i usually let it ride... and its not like its my last $125, but i hate losing on the last leg, and thanks to you guys, i was able to learn for myself what to do... i got lucky.. sometimes you do, sometimes you don't..

hedging is just the smart thing to do however, to guarantee a profit.... or....

buddy of mine had a 4 teamer today $60 to win $950 ... last leg was Balt -7 .... he texted me at like 3:30 to tell me .... i told him i liked seattle +7 , he laughed at me and i explained what a hedge is ... he said that was stupid .... didnt do it ... and well we know the rest of the story , lol

People always say the risk is small so they let it ride out. Truth is once the the first 3 legs hit that money is basically yours already. Hedging a play is as simple as cancelling it really and eating the vig and collecting the winngs.
