Need help remembering

What was the game 2 or 3 seasons back where the NFL and fixed games was confirmed..

I think it involved Polamalu picking up a fumble and running it in for a last second cover and TD.. and all of a sudden the refs ruled it no TD and ran off the field as the game ended.

I cant find the video or remember the teams, pretty sure it was Pitt though and I remember somone like Polamalu scoring the fumble recovery and me saying "oh my god, i covered!"


A huge swing as the money was riding on the TD.

It was a clear touchdown with no reasoning to rule it not...

THEE most obvious screwup ever..

I remember the game, and I think you're right that it was Polamolu. I don't recal that anything was "proven" regarding a fix though.

It was 08 and it was Steelers-Chargers the game you're talking about

The video breaks up some, but you can see the play.

There was an illegal forward pass on the play. But, it seems one of the officials said the play should be dead assuming the wrong forward pass hit the ground.

i dont remember the forward pass.

i think Pitt was favored by 4 or 5 and would have covered obviously.

huge money on pitt in vegas..
