Need Some Advice on Carolina -3

Hey all, for some reason this game is rising my brow. I am liking Carolina -3 coming off the Bye week. Any insight would be helpful though.

Thanks, TNell

Put bills and Carolina together and you have yourself a nice little teaser. Good luck!

Liking Jacksonville -3 against Indy in Indy.

Jacksonville has a strong defense: 8th against the pass ( 197 yards per game), 12th against the run (110 yards per game), and they give up the 8th least points per game in the NFL (20.38).

Indy cannot figure out who their quarterback is, Curtis Painter or Dan Orlovsky. It doesn't matter. Indy has the league’s 28th ranked passing offense. Against Jacksonville's D, Indy will sputter. With no passing game and no real running game, the Colts will not be able to move the ball through the air. On the ground, same thing. the Colts are 23rd in the league in rushing ypg.

On the other side of the ball, the Colts defense is not any better than their offense: 24th against the pass (260 yards per game), 31st against the run (146.11 yards per game). The Colts give up over 400 ypg making them among the worst all-around defenses in the league. Giving up OVER 31 ppg shows the ineptness of the Colts D.

If you want a nap, try watching this game. It should put you to sleep. But if you are going to bet it, take Jacksonville -3. ***
