The Bears to a man know they don't get any respect and they also know a loss to the Lions would set them back in this regard. I am pleased Nate Burleson put some locker room fodder on the line with his prediction of a win. Bears also know they need to get this win to offset the worlds opinion that they didn't deserve game one win.

In case many don't know, the Bears did NOT make any big changes to their Tampa 2 D for Vick..a slight in game modification to stop the short passes they were allowing. Lovie feels the opponent must find a way to attack his D, not the other way around. Of the opponents left, NONE have a better front 7 than the Bears, I repeat, NONE. The success of the Tampa 2 is the pressure the front 4 can put on the QB, and in the Philly game, I don't believe they had a blitz..used just a 4 man rush, and to perfection.

But they need to keep on keepin on

rjb you are a pretty sharp guy actually imo

but bias takes many form and while you saw the Philly game as Philly missing their 2 corners, bob and I see THE BEARS AS 100% HEALTHY getting points at home against an overhyped star who benefitted from not getting hit for 2 years.

And we related that to Urlacher, who hasn't been hit for 2 years who is the defensive MVP of the league right now....except for Peppers who is playing even better.

Nobody is saying Cutler is Rivers or ever will be. But we are saying that failure to take Cutler and Martz's changes seriously is what is making the books so much money.

Yeah and the score was 31-13 after 3q. Vick was shut down until garbage time.

Vick and co got 191 worthless yards.

So vick was more like 150 yards with 1td and 1pick.

Cutler could have sucked and the bears still.would have been in it
