NFL Betting: Vikes v. Pats

Hi guys, some information and recommended bet for the game.

All the talk ahead of this match is of former Patriots star Randy Moss. Andy Richmond tells us what all the fuss is about....

Match odds: Minnesota [3.40], New England [1.40]

The main narrative in this game revolves around former Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss. Moss played for the Patriots for three seasons and caught 50 TD passes and then got traded a few weeks back to unite with Brett Favre at his former home in Minneapolis - he returns on Halloween to Massachusetts.

Although it's uncertain if Favre will be throwing him the ball on Sunday at the Gillette Stadium. Moss caught 259 passes over three-plus seasons in New England, 50 of them for touchdowns and he was a major factor in the Patriots 16-0 regular season. While Moss' talents are undisputed and perhaps unmatched, his tendency to feel underappreciated reared its head in a bizarre, rambling press conference earlier in the season. The upshot of which was that the Patriots decided they could do without the distraction of Moss and traded him.
