NFL Early Week 9 Leans and Discussion

NFL Early Week 9 Leans and Discussion

Oakland at San Diego -7
The Chargers are just so damn inconsistent. Oakland better on the road. Tough game here

Pittsburgh -3 at Cincinnati
I will be the first to admit that I do not buy the Bengals. Lean Steelers here

Denver at KC -3.5
Which Tim Tebow shows up? Which KC team shows up? Chiefs deserve credit for even being 4-4 after their start but that Dolphins game shows they have issues.

Jacksonville -3 at Indianapolis
The Jaguars are one of the worst teams in football and are a road favorite. A lot of people think if the Colts win, it would be this week. I think it's possible they won't win a game. I can't touch this game

Buffalo at Dallas -6
Buffalo was a nice story but I think film starting to catch up with them. Dallas so jeckly/hyde but initial thoughts here is Cowboys blow them out.

Houston -3.5 at Tampa
Houston in the past never would win these types of games. Can't figure out Tampa

Tennessee at Carolina -3.5
Cam Newton off bye week. Titans look terrible but sometimes you have to forget last week.

Washington at Miami -3.5
lol - John Beck goes against his old team. Can Matt Moore build on his Marino like performance?

New Orleans -1 at Atlanta
Atlanta could be that scary team that no one talks about. Saints can beat anyone but they different on road. This being a dome helps

St. Louis at Cleveland -2.5
As I do this I realize there is a lot of bad teams in the NFL. Cleveland can't stop the run. S.Jax could have big day

Baltimore -7 at Seattle
If Baltimore is legit, they have to just kill Seattle here and build on their big win.

Ny Giants at SF -3.5
49ers keep winning. They get Giants in a good spot for them though - off big road win.

New England at Ny Jets -1
New England seems like they've lost their confidence. This is the type of game the Pats would usually win and shut everyone up again. Big test for Big Mouth!

Minnesota at Green Bay -13.5
Seems like Brett Favre should be automatic QB for both teams in this one

Who you like this week? Post your predictions!

Huge possibility for a letdown by the Ravens at the Hawks

Typical "trap game" sandwiched between Pitt and Cincy

sd-6.5 like rivers over palmer
baltimore- 7 like baltimore they are a better team than seattle ..i think they carry momemtem from pittsburgh game ..baltimore headed somewhere seattle nowhere this year. letdown always possible...still like balty.
KC -3.5 like kc at home..don't trust tebow...like cassell over tebow.

pittsburgh -3.5 ..i will take my chances with pitt here. cincy will have to prove me wrong.

atlanta great at home...over might be the best play.

san fran buried tampa ..tampa came back next week beat new orleans.... lot of iffy games this week .. who knows.

Would like to take the Steelers here, just havent seen how Cincy has done against a pretty good team yet. Would like to keep an eye on the Jax/Indy line and see what that does.

St Louis maybe a play as well

Oakland at San Diego -7
Jason Campbell didn't get enough credit for how well he played earlier in the year. Their season is over with having to bring in a guy off the street to learn the offense. Palmer is swimming up stream...maybe next year. I think the Chargers looked pretty good last week other than Rivers 2 TD passes to the wrong team. Lean SD, but I'm not going to lay that many points.

Pittsburgh -3 at Cincinnati
Pitt by 10 here. Spread would be -5 if the beat Balti.

Denver at KC -3.5
KC has issues, but the Denver defense is bad. No way Denver wins 2 in a row on the road. Give the points.

Jacksonville -3 at Indianapolis
Jags are bad, Colts are worse. This line says the teams are even with the Colts at home. But, do the Colts fans even care...they'd probably rather see the Colts lose. Won't bet it but lean Jax who did beat the Ravens.

Buffalo at Dallas -6
Dallas has yet to blow anybody out. Without Austin the receiving core is bunk. Buffalo is due for a win, or at least a good game.

Houston -3.5 at Tampa
Houston in a big way here. Although NO and Atl lost in Tampa, Houston is rolling, and if they get AJ back look out.

Tennessee at Carolina -3.5
Either team could win this game. I'll take the points.

Washington at Miami -3.5
Ditto to the above comment.

New Orleans -1 at Atlanta
NO is the better team, though they did lose to STL on the road. Lean NO who has the firepower to keep it close.

St. Louis at Cleveland -2.5
Take the points. STL played tough on the road in AZ, and Cleveland is starting a practice squad player at RB.

Baltimore -7 at Seattle
Tough game here. Line seems right.

Ny Giants at SF -3.5
Ditto to above

New England at Ny Jets -1
New England won't lose three in a row.

Minnesota at Green Bay -13.5
GB wins but their defense is vulnerable to giving up points. Back door cover here, especially at 14.

When was the last time the J-E-T-S were favored over the Patriots?
2002 was the year when the Patriots were beginning their run.

I love the J-E-T-S in this spot against a fading and old Patriots team.

Like Atlanta in this spot.

Like Seattle +6˝ to keep the game close.
