Word is that the Panthers like Jimmy Clausen, and that they really would only have drafted Andrew Luck because they felt "forced" to. For the price, he is a good bet to be their game one starter.

Plax will sign somewhere. Michael Vick was signed within a month of leaving jail. One thing to consider is whether he gets an additional suspension from the league, but that may not happen since he was already suspended by the Giants in 2008.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday, Jan. 17, that the club might consider free-agent WR Plaxico Burress once he is released from prison in June, reports Edward Lee, of The Baltimore Sun. "I don't know Plaxico Burress at all, I've never met him, but we'd consider him," Harbaugh said. "We'd consider anybody. It just depends on where he's at.
