Lightbulb NFL Future Bets - San Francisco to go over 8.5 - Give your thoughts

San Francisco 49ers OVER 8.5 -130
I see them going 6-2 at home with a chance to go 7-1
On the road I think they can go 3-2 of these games @ Seattle, @ Kansas City, @ Carolina, @ Arizona, @ St. Louis

49ers should win division this year.

at Seattle
New Orleans
at Kansas City
at Atlanta
Philadelphia
Oakland
at Carolina
Denver
St. Louis
Tampa Bay
at Arizona
at Green Bay
Seattle
at San Diego
at St. Louis
Arizona

What you think?

over, will be close, not a huge lean, but think they get 9 wins

more of a dangerous team come the playoffs if they win the division

Favoured to win the division so you would have to say 9 is reachable number. Slight lean to the over.

This is the easiest one out there, in my opinion.
10-6 or better is a lock.
Division sucks, road games are not terribly hard.
I can see them easily having a 7 game win streak in that middle of the schedule.

The juice on this is -160. Wouldn't it be smarter to bet them to win their division at +110? if they win 9 games, they're winning that division.

good thinking

but shying away from a bet because of heavy juice isn't a good reason

[B]being a sf bay area native, i feel its my obligation to this forum to give my insight on any team coming from here and i hate to bust the trend here , but as easy as it looks to go to the over ... i say that the under is more likely to happen .... im figuring at most a 7-9 record or 8-8 repeat like last season...

at Seattle ~~ i think this will be a tough game... sea at home used to be as good as it gets, but that isnt so true no more.... imo i think after losing its last 2 home games last season the hawks will play this one tough... opening day, b2b home losses, 4-2 last 6 games played h2h.... close game but ill take seattle here

New Orleans ~~ they are the champs, have won i think 4 straight over the niners ... saints win easy

at Kansas City ~~ afc west opponents always play niners tough and the chiefs are at home... challenging game but i think niners win this

at Atlanta ~~ falcons are 14-3 last 17 at home
Philadelphia ~~ has dominated the niners last 2 seasons

i think that the niners might win one of these 2 games therefore my prediction they will be 2-3 heading to the middle of the season

Oakland / at Carolina / Denver / St. Louis / Tampa Bay ~~ this is where the niners will have to win 4 games to get to 8.5 wins imo .... like i said earlier, the niners vs afc west opponents will be always tough close games.... carolina game is on the road which the niners dont fair well and st.louis being knocked around lately by these niners might surprise and induce the old rivalry... the bucs are owned 15-3 lifetime to the niners so they might have this game circled.... im predicting 3 wins and 2 losses to be 5-5 heading into the final stretch... but lets say the niners do win 4 games here to be 6-4 with 6 to go, they would have to win 3 out of the next 6 games against these teams

at Arizona / at Green Bay / Seattle / at San Diego / at St. Louis / Arizona

now keep in mind the scenerio leading up to this .... the niners have finished december strongly in each of the past 2 years but this season they play 4 games on the road (ari,gb,sd,stl) , against 3 playoff teams (ari,gb,sd) and a division foe seeking double revenge from last year (ari).... the niners are a horrible 4-12 their last 16 road games ( 2 wins over stl rams) and will have their hands full with playoff implications possible for these series of games..... niners might go 3-3 at best

my season prediction 7-9 or 8-8

if lucky 9-7 .... at 8.5 wins (-130 at greek) i would look for another team or play under here

Just saying, you'll get more bang for your buck with the division champs bet. Why give juice if you can get it?

Over, Iron mike gets/wills them to two wins on his own, like the D, If the O-line can pop gore for some home runs they have something going there..........

Like the under here in a close one. Barely worth a play, but under looks slightly better than a coin flip to me.

huge niner fan here and unfortunately lean to the under. no way i'd lay -160 on them having a winning season for the first time in a decade.
