probably not going to get the vote but you can make a case for these guys too

Calvin Johnson maybe the most dominant player besides Rodgers. Take him off the lions and that offense would be fuct.

Christian Ponder hasnt lost a start, and beat Cam Newton @ Carolina

Mike Tomlin doesnt have a better record then Harbaugh but his team has been dealing with major line injuries and they have been improving and just beat the Patriots who owned them previously. He deserves some 3rd place votes behind Marvin Lewis and Capt Comeback

I agree with Rodgers and Harbough certainly.

Newton probably is the ROY so far BUT I think that Andy Dalton HAS to be considered in this conversation. He's being overlooked but has the Bengals that everyone thought would be terrible at 5-2 as opposed to the 2-5 panthers whom we expected to be bad and haven't won. Though they do have a tough schedule.

Those wins have to offset some of the rushing stats on newton.
Passwise they are about the same.
Newton 11td 9int 60.2% completion, 87.1 PR,
Dalton 9td 7int 62.4% completion, 82.7 PR,

Newton still leads it now but by the end of the year he should at least be looked at as a contender.

Newton - 11 PTD, 7 RTD, 9 INT
Dalton - 9 PTD, 1 RTD, 7 INT

Why Newton has the better chance to get the award:
• Newton doesn't have a crazy good defense behind him (which is mainly responsible for that 5-2 Cincy record)
• Has rushed for more TDs than Dalton because Carolina's RBs couldn't hold Cedric Benson's jock
• Has created more buzz about a 2-5 team than Dalton has about a 5-2 team

What's crazy too is that, along with Dalton, how about A.J. Green? That kid looks really good.
