nfl opener

One Unit Plays (0-0)(even units)
Two Unit Plays (0-0)(even units)
Three Unit Plays (0-0)(even units)

Overall Record (0-0)(even units)

I for the life of me cannot get a handle on this game. At first I loved Green Bay, but I don’t like the way the line is moving, but I am afraid to take New Orleans because defending SB Champs do so well in the openers. BUT, how can I not bet this first NFL game of the season?

So I will throw a little teaser on the game. ONE UNIT PLAY

New Orleans +12 & Over 41 points (-130)

Everybody making a big deal on Drew Brees paid for his players to work out together during the lockout and that will be the difference. I guess I can buy into that some. I can see GB covering the 5 point spread but was afraid of it as it is just too close. That is where the tease comes in. I was still torn between Green Bay +2 or New Orleans +12. In what figures to be a shootout that comes down to the 4th quarter I figured I would take the double digits. That being said watch the final score be Green Bay 9-3. Ok, don’t feel great about it but at least I have some action tonight…..especially since I took a pass on the lone college football game tonight.

Back tomorrow with my plays for Sunday. Good Luck Everybody!!
