NFL Picks review

I had a horrible best bets week, with 2 fluke losses. Bad luck this week but thats why its called gambling and not check cashing. Here is a brief explination of these 2 fluke losses.

Pittsburgh 23 @ Miami 22

We had to give 3 points in this game and what a horribly unlucky start we got off to. Pitts fumbled the opening kickoff leading to Miami taking over inside the 20, held to a FD. The Steelers get the ball back and their first snap from scrimage Ben fumbles leading to Miami's second possesion begining inside the 20, again another FG. Spotted Miami 6 points in the first few minutes of the game, tough when playing on the road. We still had a chance to cover in the final minute with a 3rd and goal from the 2 when Ben scored a TD giving us the cover, however the call was overturned on the field, causing a 4th down field goal attempt and a 1 point Steeler win.

SF 20 @ Carolina 23

SF got off to a quick start but let Carolina hang around. When Alex Smith was knocked out of the game Carr came in and failed to lead any scoring drives in the second half with a QB rating of 23.8. We even had the Matt Moore mistake on his INT returned for a TD, but with the back up QB taking his first snaps of the season in an already struggling offense, Carolina managed to complete a 23 yard TD pass to tie the game up with 1:53 to play. Carr then trough an INT which lead to Carolina's go ahead TD.
