They may be the No.4 seed in the AFC but few people believe that the Broncos – even one driven by Tebowmania – can derail the big, bad Pittsburgh Steelers, who find themselves in a wild-card slot after missing out on the AFC North title to the Baltimore Ravens. Those ‘few’ Broncos backers will point to the injuries that have plagued this Pittsburgh side, but the visitors bring bundles of playoff experience and players with Super Bowl rings.
Denver are struggling with both consistency and point-scoring and arrive in the playoffs on the back of a three-game losing streak. Indeed, the Broncos have pretty much backed into the post-season on the misfortunes of others.
