Arrow Nfl quarterbacks!

I have been reading alot on these forums about elite qb's who is and who is'nt. Now i by know means think i'm some expert but here are my thoughts and i know i'm going to probably get some hate from people but it is just my list and what i think.

Elite Qb's(2)

#1 Tom Brady - The best big game qb in the game 4 super bowls/ 3 rings.

#2 Peyton Manning - I believe this year makes 10 straight playoff appearances 2 super bowls/ 1 ring.

Very close to Elite(2)

#3 Ben roethlisberger - All he does is win even though it never looks pretty 2 super bowls/ 2 rings.

#4 Drew brees - Very much a true leader 1 super bowl/ 1 ring.

Great Qb's(5)

#5 Eli manning - Has won big games none more than beating pats in 2007 super bowl only qb to beat them that year. 1 super bowl/ 1 ring.

#6 Mike vick - When he was a member of the falcons beat the packers in the playoffs in lambeau at a time you never beat favre and packers at home. 0 rings.

#7 Phillip rivers - He has the tools but in his first five seasons has never won a big game. 0 rings.

#8 Aaron rodgers - Has talent but as of now just has one playoff game under his belt. 0 rings.

#9 Joe flacco - Has now lead the ravens to the playoffs for a 3rd straight year. 0 rings.

Very good Qb's(3)

#10 Matt ryan - Has leadership ability and has lead falcons to playoffs 2 out of last 3 years. 0 rings.

#11 Tony romo - Has talent but has probably slipped down the list expect more from him. 0 rings.

#12 Jay cutler - Guy has a terrific arm and now that he is out of denver gets his first shot at the playoffs to prove how good he can be. 0 rings.

Good Qb's(9)

#13 Matt schaub - Puts up great numbers but has never won the really big games needs to lead his team to the playoffs to move up list. 0 rings.

#14 Sam bradford - I actually like this kid seems to have leadership ability and may get to show it off in the playoffs in his rookie year. 0 rings.

#15 Mark sanchez - Has led the jets to the playoffs first 2 years but for me there is just something missing. 0 rings.

#16 Carson palmer - Played in his first playoff game last season that he finished just cannot figure him out maybe get rid of the ego wideouts and he will play alot better just a thought. 0 rings.

#17 Matt cassell - Will get his first chance to show what he has in this years playoffs. 0 rings.

#18 Josh freeman - Watch him the next couple of years. 0 rings.

#19 Matt stafford - If he can stay healthy he seems like he can be very good. 0 rings.

#20 Donavon mcnabb - He maybe at the end of his career. 1 super bowl/ 0 rings.

#21 Colt mccoy - Lets see what he does next season. 0 rings.

Poor Qb's(10)

Miami - Needs a qb.
Buffalo - Maybe give fitz one year.
Jacksonville - Needs a qb.
Tennessee - See how vince young does without fisher.
Denver - Tebow give him a chance i guess.
Oakland - Need a leader at qb.
Minnesota - Needs a qb.
Arizona - Needs a qb.
San fransico - Needs a qb.
Carolina - Needs a qb.

Alright lets hear from everyone i know there will be alot of disagreements but that is to be expected it is a sports forum lets chat.

Rjb, I can maybe see your point on flacco. But eli went on the road in 3 straight weeks and was a td underdog at dallas and green bay with subzero temps and led his team to the super bowl where he was a 13 point dog to a patriots team who no one beat but he shocked the world and beat them and i believe during that year the giants won something like 11 straight road games. So he cannot be a poor qb by no means. But that is why we have these forums to debate it.

You are right that is not very good but favre has thrown more picks than anyone in his career and you listen to the media he is a top 5 qb of all-time.

This list is a joke! Rivers is elite, over 100 passer rating each year or close to it. Rodgers only playing his 2nd year, but his numbers are great, I guess he could be a wait and see, but having them in the same category as Eli and Flacco is laughable. You have Eli there for one good playoff run??? That is a great QB? Missing the playoffs the past 2 seasons most likely and a career qb rating of 80.2. Flacco better than Ryan, no way!! Who knows who will be better, but at this moment give me Ryan.

Ask mike martz and kurt warner about turning the ball over. I believe they led the league in turnovers and still went to two straight super bowls and won one. You can overcome them.

Cali, That is why we debate these things. I believe eli and rivers came out the same year and eli has a super bowl championship already and the world we live in now that is what matters it is what you do in the playoffs and super bowl that matters most. Ask anyone who is better montana or marino and you will get the same answer everytime montana why because he has won 4 super bowls. Stats mean nothing it is what you do in the playoffs that matters most what you do in the regular season is nice and can make you a hall of famer but what you do in the postseason is what makes you elite/legend.

First let me say that it is what you do in the postseason that makes you and elite/legend quarterback. You can throw for 5000 yards and 50 td's every year but if you do not make it past the first or second round of the playoffs your never considered and elite/legend qb it is just the way it is.

Another overrated stat is qb passer rating this stat means nothing here is alittle proof all-time qb passer ratings.

#1 Aaron rodgers
#2 Phillip rivers
#4 Tony romo
#5 Tom brady
#6 Peyton manning
#8 Joe Montana

Now who would take any of those guys over brady, manning or montana.

#12 Chad pennington
#13 Dante culpepper
#14 Jeff Garcia
#16 Dan marino

Would anybody take any of those guys over marino.

#19 David Garrard
#23 Marc bulger
#24 Jim kelly
#26 Roger staubach

Would anyone take garrard or bulger over kelly and staubach.

#28 Brian griese
#32 Brad johnson
#33 Jason campbell
#37 Neil o'donnell
#39 Troy aikman.

Now where was griese, johnson, campbell and o'donnell in espn's 100 greatest players of all-time i know i saw aikman on the list.

#42 Jake delhomme
#50 Steve Buerlein
#54 John elway

Elway had less than and 80 passer rating but went to 5 super bowls and won 2 of them. And his first 3 super bowls he had absolutely no talent on that team and literly carried them on his back.

#65 Johnny unitas - Maybe the greatest qb of all-time less than and 80 passer rating.

Just some examples of another meaningless stat that means nothing.

Joe montana is considered the best ever why? Because of what he did in the postseason that is what people remember not what you did in the regular season.

If anyone disagrees with anything just let me know and we can discuss.
