I read someone yesterday who said they thought Unders would come into play for Sunday's games. They were correct...under was 9-3 in Sunday's games with only 48 touchdowns scored in 13 games.

So far this season, there have been 405 offensive touchdowns scored in 90 games, an average of 4.50 per game, but there were 156 in the first 2 weeks (4.88) so touchdowns are getting fewer.

Scoring has decreased in recent weeks, but red zone production is on the increase. Here are points per possession in the red zone so far in 2011:
Weeks 1-3: 1462 points on 325 drives = 4.50 points/possession.
Weeks 4-6: 1215 points on 253 drives = 4.80 points/possession.

Defenses will start to defend the pass more, which should lead to lower totals and more running the ball in my opinion. Similar to the second half adjustment in games, defenses are now making their half-season adjustments.
