Baltimore +1 @ Atlanta

Both of these teams are very evenly matched in many areas. Both teams are 6-2 and both teams QB’s are playing very well. Flaco is completing 60% with a 12:6 ratio while Ryan is completing 62% with a 13:5 ratio. However I view Baltimore’s 6-2 record as more impressive. Baltimore has only been out gained in 2 games this season, they were -17 yards at New England and were out gained by Buffalo (off a bye) in a bad situation the following week by 142 yards. Atlanta’s defense is a weakness that has not yet been publicized due to their 6-2 record. Atlanta is giving up 5.8 yards per play 3rd worst in the NFL. When we break that 5.8 ypp down further and examine their competition it gets worse. They allowed 5.8 ypp against teams that are together averaging only 5.2 ypp. Atlanta also comes in giving up 250.5 passing yards per game (26th). Both teams run the ball well and defend the run equally well. So I will play against a weak Atlanta secondary and take the point. Notable Trend : Atlanta is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Baltimore!!!!!
