NFL Week 7 action

1 unit: 19-11 +6.90
2 unit: 4-3 +1.40
overall: 23-14 + 8.30

Frisco @ Carolina +3 (1)

Frisco finally got off the 0 mark and even covered the spread. I will not forget their only 1-5 and 0-3 on the road. Now their givng the fg on the road to a 0-5 team. Carolina are coming off a bye and get their number 1 offensive weapon back in Steve Smith. They had two weeks to try and figure things out. They seem to usually play the 49er's tough as they are 13-3 ats in the last 16. In this crazy NFL anything can happen and so it's Carolina's turn to get in the win column.

Rams @ Tampa Bay -2 1/2 (2)

Maybe suckering me in a bit with the 2 1/2 line but now I'm starting to see 3's in a lot of places. I think it's a good spot for the Bucs as they are coming off a whooping by the Saints and the Rams are coming off a big W over the Chargers. This is a different week so I'm just going to ignore last week as the NFL changes like the wind. Even though the Rams are off to a great start for the Rams at 3-3, they have yet to win on the road. TB, after losing last week at home, (we all know the Saints were due to explode) must bounce back if they are going to be a contender. Bradford is doing okay for a rookie but he has thrown more interceptions than TD's. The Rams injury report looks like a Army unit that was hit by an ambush. I count 15 players in all that are finished, out, doubtful, or questionable, for the game. Sucker me in I'm in

Pitt @ Miami +3 (1)

Another game that I really like the home team and the spot their in heading into the game. Pitt with big Ben back and one hell of a defense looks very convincing to bet. So I'm going the other way on this one. Miami is 3-2 but suprisingly 0-2 at home. Very strange for the NFL. I do see where they are a unbelievable 15-41-1 ats in their last 57 home games. The last time Miami beat Pitt was in 1998. Once again how can one not bet Pitt in this game. It just looks fishy to me.

Washington @ Bears -3 (2)

Both teams coming off losses last week at home. Once again the Bears could not proteck Cutler. He didn't even have a clue on a few of the sacks. They came untouched form the blind side. Surely they had to spend time watching film and getting this corrected. Run the dam ball more. Their D is tough enough to keep them in this game. Thier fg kicker is one of the best. I just see them bouncing back strong and getting a W at home by a 20-10 type score. Wash has been playing okay at 3-3. I really think their offense will struggle in this one as the Bear's rushing D are only allowing 84 yards a game. Portis is still out and Torain will play well nusring a sore knee. I think the Bears D will cause some turmoil and I can even see them setting up the offense in great field postion in this game.

Cleveland @ Saints -13 (1)

Here we go a again. The Saints finally score some points and cover a spread and now their DD fav's again. They are playing a team right now that's on their 3rd qb in Colt McCoy. Both Wallace and Delhomme are questionable for this game. Cleveland's brutal schedule continues as they are 1-5 and 0-3 on the road. The Saints have had a 5 and 2 point win at home, along with a 3 point loss at home. I think they play off last weeks big W at TB and give their home fans a treat this Sunday. That Cleveland D will tire because of their offense. They will not have enough time to rest. Sound to easy doesn't it. It can't be easy though as the spot is almost 2 td's. If Big Ben can come back in his first game and light up Cleveland then I'd hate to see what Brees at home might be able to do.

Patriots @ Chargers -2 1/2 (2)

I know, what the hell am I doing betting on the Chargers. Their done, they got beat by the Rams and a rookie QB last week. Now they face perhaps one of the cratiest veterans in the league. He has Mr. Moss to throw to now. Chargers may only be 2-4 but they are 2-0 at home. Like him or not, Rivers is having a heck of a season. He has thrown for over 2000 yards and 12 t'd and 5 interceptions. I like the match up as Rivers is throwing for 316 yards per game while the Pat D are allowing 273 yards through the air.

Who's playing qb for the Raiders Sunday? Anyone know?

Risky play here, but I like your guts! Gotta say that I won't play the bears anymore this season, it's too much like playing a crap shoot and they killed my 6 team teaser last week.
I'm leaning on the Saints cause I feel like Colt McCoy is gonna fold under the pressure of the Superdome. Don't know which way I'm gonna lean on the Pats vs. Chargers, but I really like the over. San Diego is 2-0 at home, and Pats always find a way to manufacture points. This should be a shoot out in my opinion.
This is my two cents, Wish you best of luck this week.
