Lightbulb NFL Week 8 Big Games Early Looks & Discussion

New England -2.5, 51.5 at Pittsburgh
Steelers a homedog and playing well. New England had a bye week. A lot of people going to say give Belichick two weeks to prepare and that means trouble.

Who do you like?

Dallas at Philadelphia -3.5, 51

A huge game for both teams for confidence wise and also a statement game. Eagles had two weeks to prepare. Cowboys can go on a roll if they win this one

Who do you like?

Feel free to add other games, opinions or whatever!

Dallas D is much better than philly's offense. Philly is one of the worst against the rush... did you see what murry did today? Dallas wins outright.

Remember what new england did to the steelers last year? And the steelers went to the big game and don't look as good as last year. The pats look better than last year and come off a bye. Pats win by FG +.

I think the Dal/Phi game is going to be a shootout, Phi wins.

was Impressed with ponders qb play today, looking forward to the Min/Car game

I will be betting on the Patriots but as we all saw last night in the Baltimore/ Jacksonville game, any team can beat any team on a given night. Patriots are the better team and in my opinion the best the AFC has to offer. They are the worst type of team for the Steelers Defense to face...too many options on offense and a great Quarterback.
They bounce back and beat Baltimore the following week!

Some how Philadelphia pulls out the win, Romo blows it?

Patriots offense has looked very good this year, but their defense is suspect. This should be a shoot out going over easy with the Pats covering 2.5 fairly easy.

Dallas pass catchers have dropped 18 passes this year. Their center wasted 4 or 5 downs on bad snaps versus the Skins. Despit Romo throwing a few picks and one fumble, he's had a pretty good year so far. And, their defense is really good when Scandrick is on the field. This game could go either way and so I take the points.

Redskins at Bills is an interesting one. Bills off the bye, Redskins hurting on the O line, and who didn't know they had two below average QBs. Oh yeah, the Shannahans. I think the Bills win it easily at home.

Seattle as a home dog also seems like a good bet.

I also like Indy to cover coming off a brutal loss. Of course, Tennessee is coming off a brutal loss too, but +9 is enough for them to lose a close one and cover if not win it outright.

the seattle game is interesting to look at. If they get lynch back then they will be competitive as they usually are at home. However, if he's out or hurting the bengals take the win as they have a good defense and decent offense. Like them here.

Agree indy covers and bills roll the skins.

Forgot about the Lynch injury. Without him they have a pretty average group of backs. Thanks!
