NFL's Best Quarterback

This is my opinion and I value yours so let me know where you differ.

Best QB: Aaron Rogers (Green Bay) is just playing at another level in the NFL this season. Rogers, through 7 games has passed for 2372 yard with 20 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. He has led the Packers (7-0) offense who have scored 230 points (32.8 ppg).

Most Overrated QB: Tie between Michael Vick (Philadelphia) and Tony Romo (Dallas). These overhyped players have 15 interceptions and only 6 wins between them.

Surprise QB: Rookie Cam Newton (Carolina) has played better than either Vick or Romo and continues to impress. Another rookie, Andy Dalton has also impressed with Cincinnati (5-2).

Washed Up QB: Donnie McNabb should have retired three years ago. He is not worth a roster spot on a struggling Minnesota team who has won only two games.

I welcome your thoughts on my choices....who would you substitute if you disagree?

Sounds about right.

Could throw in worst coach with Sparano leading that charge.

Not sure Favre would be pissed about rodgers doing well at all. Not even sure why you'd say that.
Guy gets pissed on so much more than he ever deserved. Sad it became 'internet cool' to dump on him because the media had to write 20 stories a week about baseless rumors during his offseason and people mistook that as him saying all that crap.

Surprise QB: As surprising as rookies can be, I'd like to put Ryan Fitzpatrick in this category. This is a guy that a lot of people had written off mainly because he was in Buffalo. I'd say he's having an MVP-calibre year, considering how that team has turned around. Not saying he'd win, but he should garner some votes. You could also put Alex Smith in here, for the exact same reason as Fitz, except Smith is doing it in SanFran.

Washed Up QB: At what point will we all agree that Matt Hasselbeck should be in here as well? I totally agree with McNabb. But I nominate Matt as well.

Overrated QB: Matt Ryan & Joe Flacco are tied for me. Again, no arguments here on your nominations of Vick & Romo, though I do think Vick has a WAY better chance to turn his season around, and Philly can still do something in the playoffs. But it actually pains me to watch a Ravens game. Flacco just doesn't impress me at all. As for Matt Ryan, I hear a lot of talk about that impressive home record. Reminds me a lot of Kyle Orton for the Bears.

The Nac makes an excellent point about Fitzpatrick

He's a major reason Buffalo is sitting there at 5-2.

Thanks Bud.

Guess youve never seen any stories about what a prick he was to rodgers those years they were together. Or about how he would never go on record saying he was rooting for the Packers or supporting rodgers at all. But hey, its hard to see those things when Favres cawk is in your mouth

Id say Fred Jackson is more of an mvp candidate than Fitzpatrick. Nothing against Fitz because he has been great, but Fred Jackson is the key to that offense and the team mvp.

Also I agree with Nac, Flacco is definitely the most overrated. The guy is horrible.

So to sum up, Rodgers is great, Romo is over-rated, Newton is having a surprising year and McNabb is probably done?

PManning #1 IMO.
