Man thought there was no way that he wasn't coming. Going to be a huge letdown to the Viking fan base. Guess it is time to get ready for the Sage era.

I wouldn't rule anything out until about week 4 of the preseason. Favre hasn't been to a full camp since the 90's, if ever. He knows the offense. Would be Favre-esque to say no now, then change his mind about a week and a half before the season begins............

Saw John Clayton on ESPN News talking about how Favre hasn't had to spend a summer in a dormitory since 1991, sounding like that's a factor

They are in training camp down in Mankato for 12 days, then back to Minneapolis. Wouldn't be suprised still to see him here then. I honestly won't believe hm until I see the imposing figure of Tavaris Jackson behind center opening day
