Ochocinco to wear Chris Henry's jersey on Sunday

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4756880

Breaking league rules, however the NFLPA has offered to pay any fines incurred by Chad's gesture. Quite frankly, I think it would be an insult if the NFL fined Chad for this.....

What do you think??

Don't read into this so much....Chad and Chris were very close and this is an opportunity for Chad to wear another teammate's number to honor him.

Pretty sure this violation incurs a fine only but I'm not 100% sure on that.....could lead to suspension

I think Jack said it best though.....I'm pretty sure the NFL will look past this or think of something to say in the press to cover up any fine issued.

dont read into this so much? lol...i like chad, love his celebrations but please dont tell me he is not about bringing attention to himself, not like he has a track record of trying to be the center of attention or anything.

Team should get an automatic 10 yd penalty as soon as he steps on the field with another jersey. He should get ejected out of the game. This is the NFL, Ocho, not the XFL for crying out loud.

(If refs/league have sufficient evidence that this was premeditated then both he and the team should get a fine--but that will be very hard to proove even if the media said he would from his own accord.)

This is a desperate move from Ocho to upset his opponent and more often than not it does not work.

(no disrespect whatsoever). Play ball, damnit, not manipulate the rules to see how far he can stretch it.

There's a thin line that separates emotions vs stupidity.

You are kidding right? This has nothing to do with upsetting his opponent, do you think for one second that the Chargers care or not whether he wears 15? This has nothing to do with Ocho being Ocho this is Ocho honoring a good friend of his. Ocho and Chris Henry had become very close over the years and in fact the night before the accident Henry and Ocho were talking to each other.

This is not stupidity this is about honoring a friend and if the NFL were to fine him they would look like a complete bunch of baffoons in my opinion.

I went quite fast there and meant Ocho to rile up his team for not only the +7.5 cover but to W the game as an upset. Hope this makes better sense.

Look at the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL--can't remember the names right now but a player wore his teammate's jersey UNDER his own. When the camera was directed at him he lifted his jersey to show his buddie's #. And that's all Ocho should do. He's taking this way too far.
