You would get crushed, because its more than likely they will be a bit behind this year.

I think they'll get this settled around August 10th, get camps and stuff going and push the season back about 2-3 weeks. Players will be very happy to miss the offseason training camps.

A lot depends on if they play 16 or 18 games. If they play 18 games, the games will be added in January, so the pre-season will start two weeks later than usual, giving a better chance that the regular season's week one actually starts on time.

they will not play 18 games in the first season after a new cba is signed...that's already been established since the schedule is already set

We'll prolly lookin at a 10-12 game schedule this year. There will be a lockout and it will get nasty.

There are TWO schedules already set. Right now, it appears as if this season may stay at 16 games, but according to the players (who are going to lose), an 18 game schedule is not negotiable. If the owners want it, they will get it. If the players continue to hold out because of this, the strike/lockout will last a long time.

You dont know anything...any changes made to the schedule will not take place until the following season after a new CBA is signed. This is a no brainer they already have the schedule set next year of which teams play each other, only thing left is the dates

What makes you so sure the players will lose ? Think they will just crumble, and give in to the owners ? I would probably agree, but the way I see it the players could call any shot they want as long as they are willing to wait for it. Hell they could get ANYTHING, and EVERYTHING if they really wanted it bad enough without question. Easy too as the owners would eventually cave in first if it really came down to it.

NFLPA's executive director DeMaurice Smith said an 18-game schedule is off the table for the union............

"Eighteen games is not in the best interest of our players' safety, so we're not doing it."

Deal will not get done. Players Union taking that off the table shows they are fustrated.
