Panthers make it official. Ross Cockrell broke his left tibia and fibula this morning. He’ll undergo surgery and will eventually be placed on IR.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers linebacker Jake Ryan tore the ACL in his right knee and will miss the rest of the season, according to a source familiar with the results of an MRI he underwent Tuesday.

Ryan was injured in practice Monday and carted off the field. Surgery will be scheduled soon for the fourth-year linebacker and he will face a 10-12 month recovery.

For some reason Terrell Owens is going into the Hall of Fame as an Eagle. Another decision that made know sense. I loved TO but he was barely here if he and McNabb would have gotten along a big IF they couldve broken every Eagle receiving record every held

He campaigned to come here. They need him cuz the WR group is very thin.

Cam takes high road....

Benjamin told The Athletic that he never felt that he was a fit with the Panthers, and specifically never felt he was a fit with Cam Newton.

“I should’ve just been drafted by somebody else. I should’ve never went to Carolina. Truly, I just think Carolina was bad for me,” Benjamin said. “If you would’ve put me with any other quarterback, let’s be real, you know what I’m saying? Any other accurate quarterback like [Aaron] Rodgers or Eli Manning or Big Ben [Roethlisberger] — anybody! — quarterbacks with knowledge, that know how to place a ball and give you a better chance to catch the ball. It just felt like I wasn’t in that position.”

Benjamin doesn’t exactly have a great quarterback now in Buffalo, so whether he can be happy there remains to be seen.

For his part, Newton posted a brief video on social media saying, “I ain’t gonna go back and forth with him, I’m just gonna work.”

Going once going twice, wow Coleman goes for a seventh rd draft pick. He must be terrible. a few teams need WRs so Its telling, always thought he was pretty good.

For a brief moment, a fan lived out his dream of suiting up and practicing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A man, dressed in full uniform, sneaked onto the turf practice field at Saint Vincent and joined the players for a few moments during the team stretch before practice Saturday afternoon.

The first giveaway the player was not legit was his uniform number. He was wearing No. 43, which had not given out by the Steelers since Troy Polamalu retired after the 2014 season. Also, the numbers were in block format, and the jersey color was a slightly darker yellow than the bona fide Steelers players were wearing gotta see the guy....
