even tho i think Eagles after two st games putting up huge numbers will go south this week ! Plus cowboys havent forgotten the spanking that The eagles gave them up @ Philly 34-7 !

IF i was Dallas no matter what happens between NYG @ NYJ i'd come in with that FU attitude YOU suck and we are winning the div this year NO playoffs for you dream team fakes !

Anyway the Eagles blew it out of gate going 1 -4 then the 3 game homestand after hammering dallas LOSE to the Bears then worse as a 14 point chalk LOSE to THE Cardinals Seasons greetings Philly fans YOU will be watching the playoffs with us at HOME!

BUT if Giants win then the game is Meaningless to Eagles also Dallas a lil bit might not use starters the whole game ;

schedule makers did it right keeping div games at end of season to keep us watching !

- Giants are out of playoffs
-Dallas wins against philly: then dallas clinches the NFC East
-Philly wins against dallas: Then their hopes comes down to week 17 where giants win puts philly in playoffs, dallas win gets dallas in.


If giants win
-then philly is out of the playoffs
-no matter the outcome of the dallas/philly game the winner of week 17 giants/dallas wins the nfc east.

as a Giants fan I try my darndest to not bet on/against them. Only when if it looks real good and it's early or mid season.

This is wrong. Giants are not eliminated with a loss. They are eliminated only with a loss + Cowboys win.

Wrong again. Eagles are not eliminated with Giants win. They are eliminated with Dallas win (in either of the last two weeks). Eagles must win out and then: If Giants lose vs Jets in week 16, then beat the Cowboys in week 17, then Eagles are division champs because all three teams will be 8-8 and Eagles hold tie-breaker advantage vs both Cowboys (swept series) and Giants (better divisional record).

Even if the Eagles were eliminated coming into this game (which they won't be, as you suggest) -- this is a divisional game, and nobody on the Eagles team will lay down for the Cowboys, and vice versa. No way this game is meaningless for either team.

eagles ARE eliminated this week with a giants win, even if eagles win.

however, if giants lose this week, they are NOT eliminated. as long as the eagles beat dallas this week, giants play for the division next week (if the eagles also lose to the redskins in week 17)

So if the Giants win...Dallas doesn't have a lot to play for against the Eagles because they will have to beat the NYG next week to make the playoffs weather or not they beat Philly or not.

Because if the Giants win this week, they play Dallas next week. So Giants must lose this week, Philly must win this week, and hope the Giants can beat Dallas next week.

With 4 games left, Dallas needed to go 1-3 and Giants 2-2 with Philly winning out
