Opinions on the line moves in the Dallas/Philly game

I know we have some sharp people in the mall. This is obviously going to be a game that alot of people are going to show more interest in than most matchups after the performance of both teams last week.

We knew Dallas was going to be good which gives them high public perception to begin with. The unknown for Philly was the recieving position with Reggie Brown's injury and D. Jackson getting his first start. Philly lights up an awful St Louis team and now this is a big game in the public's eyes. Philly did look good, but basically the Gmen gave the Rams the same ass whooping at St Louis. Not putting Philly down, but perhaps the Eagles are getting a little more love than they deserve by the public.

When you consider the above, I have to believe that even though the money is nearly 60/40 Boys now, there is alot of public money that normally would go on the Boys, going to the Eagles getting basically a TD. Almost seems as though the books are trying to gather up some Philly money.

Now the line moves from 7 to 6.5 which to me is just begging for squares to tease the Cowboys down to a pick. Just curious what others that follow lines are thinking about the moves here.

Yeah, the money line is 70/30 Eagles, but nothing cries square more than being able to tease the hometown Cowboys to a pick. Scares the shit out of me to take Dallas now. Only thing that I really like about the Boys tonight is that nobody is talking about Dallas right now and everyone is in love with McNabb again after one good performance with recievers that put up one good performance against a terrible defense.

Personally I think the line and movement are both bait for Philly bettors

When the $$ is on the dog the fav usually rolls

Got that shit right Romo. I've been staring at the line move chart for this game for about an hour trying to figure out what the hell they are trying to draw money on.

I got baited last year Week 1 Sunday Night Football... Giants +6 to +7 @ Dallas.... It was a shoot out and Dallas covered.. I wisened up the second time later in the season when the Packers were getting the +6.5. Took Big D, Favre went down. I got the win.

Tonight I see Dallas + Over
