The Steelers have had by far the most disappointing and embarrassing season. In a season with so many piss poor teams, the Steelers have embarrassed themselves this year. Losing to KC, Oak, and now Clev in 3 straight weeks and losing what was it 4 straight when leading in the 4th quarter is just unacceptable for ANY team, nevermind the defending champs. The Steelers should be ashamed of themselves. Any Steeler fans stillwant to defend their team?

I will defend my favorite team. As a Steeler fan I will say that this is about as low as you can go but to not defend them means giving up. Steeler fan thru and thru and this season reminds me of the season when Ben crashed on his motorcycle. He didn't crash his motorcycle this year but he did crash into a women and has a case hanging over his head. The biggest problem is in the defense. With out Superman this defense is completely different. I hope Troy sits the rest of the season because winning anymore games this season is pointless. Again, I will always stand by the Steelers because win or lose they are my favorite team in sports. GLTU

Come on Steel . This season wasn't lost because Ben finger raped the motel 8 maid. No case case closed. (Superman) - Troy got hurt bending over and slipping on the Head And Shoulders bottle. How gay is that commercial ? He should of open the shampoo bottle and chuged it pulled his wig off and threw it to a kid. Steelers quit once the Bengals beat them twice. four weeks or so ago. good luck next year

If I were you, I'd start standing by them to lose more. Losing more = better draft pick. I'm a die hard Packers fan and always have been so I know what it's like to go through the bad shit man, but be realistic with yourself.

The Steelers are having a terrible year, they've lost games late instead of closing them out like they had in the past, they've lost to garbage teams, the entire team as a whole is to blame.
And I'm still a fan.

Your team has lost so many games and squandered so many top draft picks that until a few weeks ago nobody even remembered you had a team, especially you lol. In a few weeks you'll lose in the playoffs and the phrase "yeah but at least we made it and we'll be back next year" will be added to every excuse that you can think of.

haha Quad Im not surprised you dont know me, thats not why Im here. I dont bump threads, constantly bash people, or post useless gls to bump my post count or to "get known" which is what these things seemingly do. I have better things to do than sit on my laptop every night in ingame threads posting every time something happens, although on occasion I will take part. If this is your social circle, thats fine, I have nothing against that. I am here to get some picks and give some picks. Thats what this site is supposed to be all about. Some people come to socialize, become part of the cappersmall heirarchy, be liked, whatever the reason, I am none of those. I am here to help and get some help with the goal of winning money. What I do have an issue with is when people just hype their team up constantly when they have proven nothing, i.e this years Steelers, so when I see the oppurtunity to speak the truth I will, and thats what Ive done with the Steelers. I am a sports fan first and foremost, so when I get a chance to needle others about their team I will, and I expect everyone to do the same to me. Its mainly because of Sweetleaf and the fact that he dishes it back, so I take advantage of the oppurtunity. I will cut back on the bash Steelers post seeing as you seem sensitive to the subject. If it makes you feel better when the Chargers crumble in the first round of the playoffs I will do the same with them. As for my team, its the Pats, and I am embarrassed by their performance this year just as you are with the Steelers I assume. However the one thing that differs is the pats are still alive, Steelers cant say the same, so I guess thats a victory in itself.

What is there to defend? This is a very bad football team.

As a Steeler fan, and a Pittsburgher, I pride myself on knowing the difference between good and bad football, and this is as bad is it gets. Bad in all 3 phases at times. The offensive play calling is mind boggling. From the first series, this game was doomed. 3rd and 1 after runs of 5 and 4 yds and go into SHOTGUN!!!??? In weather of -10 with wind chill??!!! Arians is as bad at his job as anyone in the league.

The defense obviously is injured without A. Smith and Polamalu, but at least they won the MIN and DEN games virtually on their own. It's no wonder they give up 4th quarter leads when they are on the field the whole damn game without rest because the offense can't convert a lousy 3rd down to at least get field position.

Blind allegiance makes no sense to me. When it's good, say it's good. When it's bad, say it's bad. And right now, it's pathetic.

Very good post.. Cant win every year.. Hell it could be worse we could be a Cinny fan (who Pitt has owned since day one) they get all excited just winning a division title.. When they get 6 SB's under their hat.. call me.. LOL jump off the bandwagon because of one year.. Constancolorupor . I was a fan of Pitt when they were bad... very bad.. 1-13 bad.. Brady Keys bad.. So this is just a blip on the screen..

Teams are going to have great years (Denver winning back to back) and then shit years (missing the playoffs...3 years running now?) so to all you Steelers fans, we've all been there. All you can do now is hope some young guys get to strecth their legs out the rest of the year, maybe play spoiler and screw someone else's team out of the playoffs, and then count down to Draft Day.

It is what it is. No sense in getting bent out of shape about it. Let the haters talk. For whatever reason it helps them sleep at night. But they'll disappear once their teams start dying off.
