over 2.5 QB's first round?? .. THOUGHTS PLEASE

this play is juiced highly, -350 at my book .. but i think it is a LOCK ...

clearly sanchez and stafford are going top 10, maybe top 5 ...

so the bet is essentially whether josh freeman will be drafted first round ... i gotta believe that either the 49ers, JETS, or bucs take him ... strongly thinking the jets will. (and if not, still 11 more teams to pick after those three teams)

anyone honestly see how this could play out that he wouldnt be taken? anyone have odds on this bet anywhere else?

if lions don't take stafford, it goes under

i would like to say over no brainer but brady quinn is still lurking and could get traded which is the 1 scenario i can imagine that freeman wouldnt get taken 1st round. even if stafford doesnt go 1, with all the qb needs freeman still 1st round.

I'm thinking SOMEONE is gon' take a chance on Freeman. There's a load of teams that could use him.

if stafford didnt go 1 outside shot he falls out of top 7 but that would mean someone would have to trade up and everything, even with the high juices i think its a safe bet that 3 qbs go in the 1st, i really cant see freeman falling out of round 1 too many teams need qbs and if hes falling that far someone will trade into the bottom of round 1 to get him. and same for crabtree unlikely he falls out of top 7.

i thik the under is worth a shot... there are too many variables to select the over

I see at least one of the top 3 doing some serious sliding on draft day

No chance. Stafford goes #1 unless he can't agree on compensation. Sanchez could go as high as #4 to Seattle, but will not drop below 8. Jacksonville will take him then. The Jets and Tampa both need QB's desperately. Freeman goes to one of those teams. Even if Quinn is traded (which will not happen until the Top 3 QB's are taken), he can only go to one team.

By the way, if the Lions do not take Stafford at 1, St. Louis will probably take him at 2.

I could see the Lions trading 20 overall for Quinn, i think that would be their best move....

stafford might have a long sit because it seems teams like sanchez more. but yea i think lions go curry or smith if they get a deal done for quinn before the draft.

they could still get freeman at 20

Look at the number of teams that may be in the market for a QB. You have Detroit, St. Louis, Seattle, Jacksonville, San Francisco, the Jets, and Tampa Bay all mentioned in one scenario or another. That is 7 teams for 3 QB's. Granted St. Louis is only in the ballgame if Detroit does not take Stafford at #1, but if that happened, that would leave 2 QB's for 5 teams. There are too many teams out there looking to allow one of these 3 to slide into the 2nd round.

First Sanchez was being mocked for coming out early and not being ready for the pros, now reports are that some teams may want to take him very high in the first round. Crazy.
