Over/Unders

I am 0-5 in totals the past 3 weeks. Yesterday not only ruined my teaser, but also my moneyline parlay. Can someone please offer any advice as to how to cap totals? And I don't want to hear any "good defense bad defense crap" as that has not worked all year.
