Owners vote to APPROVE Playoff overtime rules....
28-4, league owners approved the overtime rule change in the Playoffs. They will be meeting up in May to discuss doing it in the regular season as well.
The new rule says a team losing the coin toss and then surrendering a field goal on the first possession should have a series of its own in OT.

Thankz Owner, for making the saints look like an Azz for winning a overtime game. Why Now? Why changing the rule now after the saints won. It wasn't a question before, it there?

The reason they failed on this: it's not the same as NCAA. Period.
They had a chance to do something really great here and make the OT that much more exciting, but they ****ed it up. I'm not sure why, but the CFL just became that much more appealing this year.

Like the decision, hopefully they bring it in for the reg season too.
