This is the most important game for both of these teams because this is the game that will determine home field advantage in the playoffs. Right now, Atlanta has the best record in the NFC at 8-2. The Falcons hit the road for three straight games, all very winnable, after this game. They go to Tampa, Carolina, and Seattle. Then they finish at home against New Orleans and Carolina. The Falcons will win at least three of those games. Green Bay hosts San Francisco, the Giants, and Chicago, while going to Detroit and New England. It would be nearly impossible for them to pass Atlanta being two games and the tie breaker down to the Falcons.

I am going to give the edge to the Falcons here for two reasons. First, home field advantage. Second, history. The Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against Green Bay. This should be the best game of the weekend.

Matt Ryan 18-1 at home as a starter also.

I'm a little surprised of the line. I had Falcons -3, 3.5

still think the falcons arent as good as their record. dont like that defense that much. and will be a one and out playoff team but they are good at home, so tough one to choose.

actually think it will be tough to stop rodgers and the packers indoors as well. over might be a good play. think woodson on roddy white will be a key matchup

Well, you have a high powered Atlanta offense versus a high powered Green Bay defense. So it boils down to Green Bay's offense versus Atlanta's defense. I agree with you Dr. Jack, would love for this line to swing 2 points in Atlanta's favor making it -3 or -3.5 cause you are not beating Green Bay by more than a field goal this year.

Can't argue with that. So far, all of the Pack's losses have been by 3 points. However I do think that this game is huge for both teams. It is the difference between playing in 20 degree Green Bay or 70 degree Atlanta (indoors) in January.

Atlanta is as good as their record. Find it so funny that these guys are getting no respect despite having the best record in the LEAGUE.

Over is always a solid play with the Falcons so I like that as well. Thinking something around GB 23 ATL 26 sounds about right.

I knew atlanta would be a major factor in the nfc coming into this this year and needs to keep winning to stay ahead of defending champ saints and surprising tb. I feel atlanta gets it done at home in a close game 20-17.

I have bet against Atlanta too many times at home & been burned. Right now, I would say they appear to be almost unbeatable in the dome. I would go with them, but what scares me, is they really are due to lose there. Green Bay has the offense to do it, and I think it will be a great game.
