Miami Dolphins: Backup quarterback Pat White is out with a serious issue - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Pat White's training camp is over, his season in jeopardy.

According to a league source, the Dolphins backup quarterback could miss the entire regular season with a non-football related issue that is described as serious.

At minimum, White will be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list after sitting out Friday's opening practice of training camp.

I think just having an actual real #1 receiver at Camp makes him look GIANT. lol. It's been years. To be honest, I think he just has to show up and look good.

But you right, only positive reviews on the guy

Sad, I think he should have played Baseball, too small for a NFL QB

White passed up a MLB career and a six-figure salary with the Anaheim Angels to play college football.

HS pitcher and outfielder in baseball , winning two state championships.

I'm glad he played football though, he was fantastic to watch at West Virginia.

This news is unfortunate, as I was hoping to see the WildPat take off this year.
