Personaly, I dont see it happening.

The run game is not solid enough. Oh, you ran on Mia? wow, good for you, who hasnt?

The defense is old, and they will be geting more and more tired with the length of the season and the games.

Go up against a team like jax and they gash them with taylor and mjd and over the course of the game they will get tired as they have already shown and they will allow runs to break.

If there is bad weather in NE upset ops get all the more likely. They have a pass to run offense (well tec pass to screen or check down) which is not the kind suitable for the weather conditions of NE in January. The location of the franchise could be what ends up f*cking them, and that would be priceless.

In the second half yesterday they were outplayed by Miami.

If they win this week against NY (they have a tough road still) - they will most likely play 3 solid teams that can give them trouble. I think someone knocks them off and won't that be sweet

Maybe but every NE starter was still in and don't tell me that offense wasn't trying to score because they were and the teams they face from this point forward will have just a "little" more talent than the Fish

Who is going to beat them? Certainly not San Diego, Pitt, or whomever gets position #6. The only two teams that have a shot at them are Indy and Jacksonville, who is red hot now. I think if New England goes down, it may be to Jacksonville.

Obviously NE will be heavy favorites in all of them games however I think it's fair to say that Indy, Jax, San Diego, Dallas or GB would all have a shot (maybe not a good shot) but a shot

Scoreboard. That is all that counts in the end. I think they looked pretty dominating against Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago. Now they can be beat, but they have already disposed of Pitt, San Diego, and Indy this season, so I will go with the team that is the hottest right now, which also happens to be a team that they have not played yet. Jacksonville. I think the Jags beat Pitt in round 1. The Chargers should finally win a playoff game in round 1 also, but we are talking Chargers here, so no guarantees. But if the Chargers can finally get off their dead a**es and win a playoff game, you have your Jacksonville-New England senario.

The JAGS, a healthy Steelers D(and Parker being hurt is actually a blessing), The Bolts, and definitely Indy are all capable of beating the PATS. I already put a whole @#$#load on the Field verse the PATS to win the Superbowl.

As a season ticket holder, and 30+ diehard fan of the patriots they will get it done. If you look at their schedule, when a good team came in they flexed their muscles(sd-pit-cowboys) the only team that was in this group class wise that stayed with them was ind, and that was at ind, and the pats had a awful game plan for that game(which was to run) and they changed this in the second half and came out victorous in the end........The only team I can see winning against them is the colts, but brady will have to have a terrible game, and TO will have happen

btw the pats will blow out the cowboys this weekend 21 to 28 pt difference, lorenzen is terrible and he will get most of the snaps 2nd quarter on
