Pats gonna beat Broncos Monday Night (10/20)

Yup. Nice job San Diego. You finally got 'em (albeit without their starting quarterback, so it can't be that great for ya - but a win is a win so up your nose; see you in the playoffs if you're lucky).

To coin an old Boston word: IRREGARDLESS!! The Pats will be hungry on Monday night and catch the Broncos off a home loss and traveling to Foxboro. Denver sports a very misleading 4-2 record (could easily be 2-4) while the Pats at 3-2 are very good at turning things around following a loss.

Biggest concern is at cornerback where they got torched by the Chargers. I'm sure Belichick will address this concern and shut down Denver's passing attack. I expect to see some new defensive wrinkles in play as well.

I really can't see this team losing 2 in a row, and I'll be at this game so they can't lose . Hurray for Monday Night Football - in the stadium I don't have to listen to Tony Cornholer.

Pats BIG!!

I don't know if New England can score against any defense, so that should make for some interesting football

I'm not saying Denver will be favored by 2-3 ponits, only that they should be

This is the first time you've disagreed with anyone on this forum, it had to happen sometime

If you are talking about New England's talent on offense, would say yes. Their offensive line is not nearly as good as it's been the last couple years. Moss is uninterested AGAIN which makes him an average NFL receiver and Cassell is not able to make any sorts of reads beyond his original one making the offense very one dimensional. Also no back scares you in their backfield either

I keep wanting Cassel to be good, but he just seems to be a step too slow for the NFL. Somebody gonna take his head off. He needs a Tight End (like a Tony Gonzalez maybe?) to get some quick short routes going.

I hear Jeff George is available... What about Vinny? Is he still around?

The chargers make any defense look bad at times but the pats dont have that bad of a defense, the chargers just have a good qb, multi dimensional offense and huge wrs. The broncos cant match that. Their running game is weak and they really only have 1 wr in marshall, who cutler just stares down and throws into double coverage all the time. The broncos defense cant stop any rbs no matter who it is, be it morris, faulk or whoever. They also can't get any pressure on the qb so the fact that NE line has been bad at protecting the passer is irrelevant. I could see a dd win by the pats easily in this spot

Not disagreeing with any of that, especially not the Pats winning by DD. I said Denver SHOULD be favored, but this is New England's season, much like the game last night was San Diego's season

I think the pats ran the ball fairly well; actually that was the only time they got any offense last night.
i think that it was a very good matchup for SD; i got tired of counting how many times they burnt our corners, or actually just Neal; they didnt go after Hobbs much. Pats didnt have enough of a rush to protect the secondary and we got killed. oh well.
as far as the broncos, i expect the pats to fix the hole in the secondary, and if we cans hut down marshall then we should be able to frustrate cutler into some turnovers.

RJB, i think pats make the playoffs. We will know more after the pats play buffalo. if they beat them then i think they can win the division still.

This is really a HUGE game for the Pats. Betjamaica has it at -3.
