My Fav

Super Bowl XLIV - If any member of the Who smashes their guitar what does the guitar hit first?

For fan to be the winner it must be a human fan. If he hits two at the same time then all wagers are no action.

Just locked it in at -165

Over 5˝ (-165) Football - NFL Team Props Super Bowl XLIV - How many times will Pete Townshend do his legendary windmill move? - Total

Wed@11:00p

Windmill move must be a full 360 degree revolution and be shown on TV to be counted for this wager.

As a huge fan of The Who, owning multiple DVDs, blu-rays, albums and seeing at least 8 shows, I would go strongly with the under.

Townsend is an old man, sure he'll maybe sport 2-3 windmills max during My Generation or Won't Get Fooled Again but he's old, and the break-stuff crazy "hope i die before i get old" hype is a thing of the past

If I knew the setlist I could pretty much tell you where and when I think, chances of something being broken except for an actual band member is around 0%

as i said in a different thread as my favorite band i am seriously pre-embarassed for them...their 2008 show on TV was pathetic and it's now 2010...roger can't sing much anymore so they'll have to carefully select songs without any range, but townsend can still play and brings his brother to overplay his chords for a pretty nice sound (Simon)

g-- save us all if they let him try rain o'er me....just plain ouch.

(I tend to think UNDER 5.5 as well. People are pumped for the Big Game and they think the Who will be too):

The Who have decided on the songs they will play during a 12 minute performance at Super Bowl XLIV. In an interview with Billboard, Pete Townshend said the set will be a "compact medley of their signature classic-rock anthems."

The set will feature a set of "a bit of 'Baba O'Riley,' a bit of 'Pinball Wizard,' a bit of the close of 'Tommy,' a bit of 'Who Are You,' and a bit of 'Won't Get Fooled Again,'" Pete Townshend told Billboard.

The announcement by Townshend is a departure from last year's Super Bowl halftime performance by Bruce Springsteen. The set list for Springsteen was closely guarded and some gambling sites allowed customers to bet on the opening song.

The Super Bowl has had a litany of older artists perform since the Janet Jackson incident several years ago. Bands including U2, Springsteen, Tom Petty, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and Prince have all appeared during halftime of recent Super Bowls.

Super Bowl XLIV, between the Colts and Saints, is set to kickoff on February 7 at Sun Life Stadium. You can see the entire game in HD on CBS4; and CBS4.com will have coverage of all the week's events leading up to Super Bowl XLIV and be blogging throughout the game on Super Bowl Sunday

baba - no windmills
pinball wizard - guaranteed windmills ** windmill song basically 2-3 prob
listening to you - hmmm there could be one here but unlikely as a mashup
who are you - no windmills
won't get fooled again - yes 1-2

my range is 3-5, townsend used to be a showboater and i'm sure wants to appear spry here but the only way it goes over is if he stands and does an entire series of windmills

in the last 15 years the only song he stands and does extended windmills for is My Genereation, and that is not part of the setlist

my best guess is he does a few for pinball wizard and then does a few to close the set. 12 minutes...go under

In my humble opinion if prop bets are set fairly (i.e. same juice on each side) then the books always are hoping for under and setting people up on the over because who wants to route for something NOT to happen? Nobody wants to route for under 3.5 sacks...and the books know. Go under!

dMy first concert was the Who. I begged my parents to let me go. I was only
15 years old. My older brother told them he would take me for my birthday.
We had a great time well i did he was with tag-along . We pull in the driveway and mom comes running out crying and tells us people have died at the who concert tonight. It was the one in Cincinnati 1979. I woke up the next day and lost three friends i went to high school with.

RIP KAREN JACKIE STEVE (pip)

My friends and I saw the who three nights in five days and the clash was the warm up band. the kids are allright tour. cant hear since . anyway seen them over a dozen times . Took my daughter to her first concert 3 years ago. Yes The Who. No Moon , No Ox = no bass(thump) Roger vocals were busted he was drinking a cup of tea to that gay song. Pete is the one only one left. Pete will bust it up on the windmills . Final Tour. Over 6
