Peyton Manning vs. Lebron James

They were talking about this on "Mike and Mike" this morning

Lebron was ripped apart for not shaking hands with Orlando players after that series was done when Cleveand lost

Peyton left the field on Sunday without shaking hands with any of the Saints. Barely a peep has been said about it.

Is there a double standard here or are there other circumstances at play here?

well Lebron's is much more visible because the court is so small

Peyton is easy to get lost in the crowd and the focus after the game is on the coaches usually shaking hands at the middle. different sports with different postgame things, easy to get lost in the mix

exactly, him leaving the court is noticed a lot easier than 1 player in a crowd of over 150 people. much harder to spot

i don't think manning meant any disrespect but to let the saints have their moment.

2040, Drew Brees addressing the NFL Hall of Fame:
"Looking back, my only regret is that after winning the Super Bowl, Peyton Manning did not come up and shake my hand. You know, after winning the biggest game in the sport, and getting MVP and outplaying Manning, it stil just rubbed me wrong and that super bowl never really felt "real."

2030, Kobe Braynt addressing the NBA Hall of Fame:
"Looking back, even though I won 7 titles and trumped MJ, my only real regret was that LBJ didn't shake my hand after we absolutely torched his team's a-- in that Finals run. We absolutely whupped them, but it just didn't feel "right" without that handshake."

LOL the only people that care are sports talk hosts and fans of the losing team who want to grasp at anything they can to feel better about losing

pro sports are about money, not sportsmanship

what are you talking about? you're talking about the most famous/talked about athlete in peyton in that game, win or lose..the field being "bigger" doesnt give him a right to act like a baby..
