Phi @ OAK

will be at the game so I wanted to put some units on the game. First instinct was to load up on the eagles cause i hate betting on shity teams but do the raiders have a chance to cover? eagles hit the road for the first time since week 1 and are 3-1 ats with 4 overs on the season. while raiders are 0-3ats and 3 out of last 4 have hit under. opinions and analysis appreciated. phi -14/40.5

i find when the raiders are at home, alot of unpredictable things tend to happen more \ often then when they are on the road. I might not even see the game, could be blacked out again

Think the under might be the play here.

By the way J, I think the chargers will snap the broncos winning streak, in a must win game at home coming off the bye.

This line is huge....14 on the road translates to 20-21 at home which is unheard of in the NFL........Philly will destroy them.....Raiders might not score....28-3 or 28-7 or thereabouts....JMO

The public is under the impression that Philadelphia is a contender and that explains the pointspread.

Philadelphia very over rated, have only beaten three of the worst teams in the NFL: Kansas City, Tampa Bay and (this year's) Panthers. The only good team the Eagles have faced, New Orleans, came into Philly and whipped them.

Tom Cable said this week that the Raiders problem is about focusing. They have been hampered by distractions. This is probably true of every losing team. However, once you confront your problem, you are ready to repair it.

I can expect the Raiders to score 20 points here as they did week one vs the Chargers, and even if they fall short of that, the effort should be enough to cover since the defense should be focused.

Still they both suck. But Philadelphia shouldn't be a 10+ favorite on the road against anyone.

I like Philly, and will ride whoever the Raiders are playing all year. Raiders are like the Pats were for me two years ago, the spread can never be big enough
