Rivers having a rough season, but I'm not ready to Romo him yet. Romo is awful under pressure. We've seen Rivers shine more times than not. I'm no Rivers fan just saying he ain't in the same bad class as Romo.

lol i have said this same thing for so long now, these two are like twins separated at birth, they are EXACTLY the same quarterback. both have the stats of elite qb's but at the end of the day you wouldn't want either of these two clowns quarterbacking your team because they are NBL's : NATURAL BORN LOSERS.

The Chargers seem to go out of their way to find ways to lose games. Aparently that has finally caught up to Rivers, who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory last night. This whole organization has been a loser for many a year now. Even when this team was in it's hayday in 2009, they could not advance past the first round of the playoffs.

They both have different styles of throwing the ball too....Rivers and Romo both have a little bit of "sidearm" gunslinger in them.
Regardless, they're both overrated.

Rivers couple of steps above Romo but not among the elite. Romo I think might not have a playoff win, maybe one. Rivers has 3 or 4.

Here we go! Let the Rivers bashers come out. The guy has had a horrible 1st half of the season and no one is more fustrated than us Charger fans, but come on with all these short minded statements such as Rivers is not elite and Rivers sucks, etc. I laugh at people who judge a person based on a 7 week span versus what they have done in their career to this point. Yes Rivers has not won a SB, but he has played in AFC Championship games and he is not the guy who fumbled away an int against NE. He did not give up all the special teams blunders last year.
This year, yes he is a main reason they have struggled, but they are 4-3 and hopefully he can turn it around. There is definitely something going on with him and I hope its temporary because his head is not in the game. I felt it last week especially in that final 2 minute drill and this week was the same. The guy has a very high winning percentage, as a qb his team averages more points per game that any other qb in the NFL right now, including Rodgers. Making judgements on 7 weeks about a guy is a joke. Be critical but dont look ignorant when making generalities.

Had Rodgers not won that SB last year people would still be critical of him. Would you? I know I wouldnt because win or lose the SB Rodgers is a great QB. Rivers is 1 SB away from making everyone eat their words and it is not far fetched to think he can get one.

Is his career over yet Nac??? No I didnt think so. You must be another that thinks every QB that doesnt win a SB sucks. You can still be an elite QB without a SB ring!!!! An all time great, probably not unless you are a Dan Marino. But you can still be a great QB for your era without winning a ring.
