Pittsburgh fans oughta be embarrassed....

...where the hell are ya's tonight? The stadium looks half full (or empty based on your own perceptions).....I know it's the Bengals and I know it's somewhat cold (22 degrees? Boo hoo), but come on!!

This reminds me of Pittsburgh's terrible support for the Pirates....

Really ??? ..... The Steelers have SOLD OUT every game for the last 18 years.. Over 300 games.. A waiting list for season tickets thats longer then the area phone book... And recognized as the best traveling fans in the NFL hands down.. As for the Pirates it is a tribute that after 14 years without even hitting 500 anyone at all even shows up for games.. Forget about Pens tickets as of late.. May want to reconsider.. I will agree many fair weather fans.. But the core is " the best " in the NFL IMO... 18 straight years of selling out.. Buff probably does not have 5 ...

Of course the Bills did sell out their tickets this year by Sept.. The earliest in history of the franchise... LOL... I know Bills have a bigger stadium then Pitt.. Problem is that Pitt has more people on the waiting list then the Bills sold season tickets for.. LOL..

How about the 3453 fans who attend the average Pirates game (an organization which I worked for). Sabres and Bills CONSISTENTLY sell out and have been some of the most loyal fans in the country!!

Pittsburgh=Fairweather!!!

I actually jumped in here to defend Pittsburgh but I'm not doing it lol
I love the Steelers and Penguins but couldn't give a shit less about the Pirates. The only concern I had for the Pirates was when they had day games and I had to sit in traffic when I used to work for Del Monte.

My brother and I talk about this all the time, we love the teams but could do without the fans in general. For the most part they're obnoxious and make me glad I have HD tvs. I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say they're the worst in the country but I'm never surprised when I see that other fans hate Pittsburghers.

I just hope I get the chance in the near future to be sitting in a city that's a hell of a lot nicer and tell people that I used to live in Pittsburgh.

As they say, Pittsburgh is a great place to be from.

The Green Bay Packers are the only sports team I despise and even I would have to admit the Steelers fans are not even close to having the same loyalty as the cheeseheads....

They travel everywhere and root on their team with an almost unmatched loyalty....Let me know when you see them on MNF 10 minutes before kickoff with almost half the stadium empty....

Ok, it's not even fair to compare the Steelers and the Pirates. The Steelers give themselves a chance to win every year. They have a competitive lineup, a decent head coach, and a weak enough division.

The Pirates are a f*cking joke. Period. You couldn't PAY ME to go watch those losers.
