* Jacksonville earns the No. 6 seed ahead of Miami and Baltimore based on conference record (6-3 to the Ravens' 6-4 and Dolphins' 5-4).
* Baltimore finishes ahead of Miami based on conference record (6-4 to the Dolphins' 5-4).



AFC non-Playoff tiebreakers

* Tennessee finishes ahead of Houston based on division record (2-4 to the Texans' 1-5).
* Pittsburgh finishes ahead of Tennessee based on head to head (1-0).



NFC non-Playoff tiebreakers

* Atlanta finishes ahead of San Francisco based on head to head (1-0).
* Carolina finishes ahead of Chicago and Seattle based on conference record (5-4 to Bears' 3-7 and Seahawks' 4-6).
* Chicago finishes ahead of Seattle based on head to head (1-0).
