Plex boom or bust in 2011...

For my buck even at his age Plex will be a boom for anyone who signs him.. Plex never was a trouble maker in his playing days in the NFL.. He was a 'wannabe" gangster who really is just a tree smoker.. Never a question about his abilities but he had a tendency to rely on his natural abilites and would take some plays off.. IMO after his jail stint it will be all business and nose to the grindstone for Plex.. Nothing like a jail stint to make one appreciate what one has lost (ask MV).. I think the fact that BOTH teams he has played for in the NFL are both taking a look at him is HUGE.. This says alot for him as a teammate.. Doubt if any of Randy Moss's ex teams would ever take another look at him.. GL Plex hope to see you at SVC next week.. Either way someone may just get a very focused player .. Hope its Pitt..

I hear its looking pretty good, one on one meeting with k colbert right now, spending a bunch of time out at Latrobe, Ben had lunch with him, B Leftwich called Plex when he was in the clink 3-4 times a week!!........I think it happens His agent came out with the figure offer from NYG 10mil over 2 yrs, cant see the Steelers paying that.

no worries, Texas stone hands Limas Sweed says..........

With all the speculation surrounding the return of Plaxico Burress and the talk of the Steelers needing a big receiver, Limas Sweed has something to say.

"I am that guy," said Sweed, a 6-foot-4, 220-pounder who is entering his fourth season with the club. "That's how I like to look at it. It's just a matter of me showing my teammates and my coaches that I am that guy."

Brown is just dam electric and a great 4th WR.. Kid made some HUGE catches for Pitt when given the field.. a major sleeper IMO.. great on retrurns also.. Pitt is all right at wr .. Plex would have been huge for them.. GL Plex always was interesting as a Pitt Player..

I think Burress has a decent, but not great season. 60 catches, 6 TD's. He seemed to be starting to hit the down side his last season with the Giants.
