Polamalu is Samoan. One of the biggest uptaped markets in the NFL. There are plenty of other warriors/animals in the various Pacific Islands like Polamalu.

But it does make sense to rest him for the playoffs. They have clinched a spot, so why put him out there & lose him for the season. I agree with the move they are making, as I would want him 100% or as close to that as I could for when the real season starts.
