poor nfl
when the usfl league was in trouble didnt they close there doors and then the nfl took over same thing happen to the usfl league and now allmost25 years later it is happening all over again allmost like dejavue

Maybe the xfl can comeback and take over also lol. My god. Ufl has no money and in fact were practically begging the nfl to buy into there league. No way no how never.

i just think i see good things coming to the end and it is money and sportsplayers cant play for 10 bucks an hour it is a shame how sports have become like this it is all about money

Agreed, and it will only get worse. Just because you are a 350 lb fat slob that no one can run around does not mean you should be getting paid 5 Million a year to stand in a huddle with your huge gut hanging out and look like a Thanksgiving Feast for Cannibals.

The USFL shut its doors for a few reasons including but not limited to....
1) They expanded into marginal cities with barely enough support to have a team. 2) They offered star players salaries the teams really couldn't afford. They did this to lure the best talent away from the NFL. 3) This one is the primary reason the USFL failed.........Donald Trump thought moving the USFL schedule to the fall to compete with the NFL was a good idea. It turned out to be the death of the league. The USFL did fine with a Spring schedule. Moving to the fall was the death of the USFL. ESPN had a very good documentary on the USFL and why it folded. The folding is very different from the current NFL labor dispute.
