Posting from The Tangiers Casino and Sportsbook in Las Vegas!!!

heres a little backround about me:

i spent the first few years of my life working on alaskan crab fishing boats. i started as a greenhorn and worked my way up to the ships engineer. it was hard work, i worked 20+ hours a day for weeks at a time. we were all making great money, and with the money comes cocaine and gambling. i would bring vhs tapes of nfl games to use to help me cap the next months games, then just use the ships satellight phone to call in my plays.

since i got to sleep on the ship while at port, and the captain would buy all the groceries, i got to bank all of my money while working up there. i decided to fish for one more year and build up my bankroll before making my big move.

i left the ship and was heading to mexico to take some time off, but on the way i stopped in a little town called Las Vegas. while there i saw a sign at the Tangiers casino buffet that said,"help wanted". i asked about the job and was told that they needed someone to steam the king and snow crabs for the buffet. with all my expierence catching them, speaking english, and willing to work for $7.75 an hour, i got the job!!!

as with all other minimum wage employees, they gave me keys and passwords to the entire financial records for the sportsbook. so now i just fill up 10 gallon steamer pots with snow crabs and keep the buffet loaded, but on my breaks, i sit in the CFO's office and see where all the money is going on every game.

ive been making 5 or 6 thousand a week doing this for a while now. believe it or not, 20k a month will buy you whatever you want here in vegas. i live like a king, its almost too easy.

i will answer some questions you may have:

? why would i post this if i work at a sportsbook?
A: because im a real life robin hood, thats why. i steal this info from my
employer, and give it to you, the average person who cant cap
any games for yourself.

? how can i post while im at work?
A: because its 2010 and my i phone gets great reception in the kitchen. if my
boss were to catch me, my union rep would sue this casino so fast, this is
America, right?

? how long till i go tout?
A: its not gonna happen. i like to give this priceless info out on the web for
free. i will gladly risk my job and my info to provide you with the hottest
picks in the world. just sit back and enjoy your new found wealth, like me.

? Don't you have to sign agreements of confidentiality?
A: no, not at all. i did have to sign a paper saying i wouldnt piss in the
steamer pots though. hell, last night i got into a taxi, snorted a bag of coke and f***ed a hooker, all in the cab while parked in front of the police station. its a crazy world out here.

i usually bet between $100 and $1.8 million a game.

now on to my pick for todays game:

sorry, not much time for a write up, theres a huge dust storm here now, i cant really breath.
ny giants - 7 buy the hook $900,000

Ace,

I need help with my math (or is it my integrity?)

If I bet $120 and win a profit of $345 can I say I won 230 to 1?

If not, how about I say I won +230,000? (That makes it look even BIGGER - check out all those zero's!)

True, the payoff is actually less than 3-1, but you have to understand - I'm trolling for suckers; I want to take them snipe hunting.)

PS - Sorry to be the one to have to tell ya, but . . .
yer wife's doin yer best friend.

(And even worse - she showed her cooter to Newman.)

PPS - My actual record at CM is closer to 19-7 (I added plays I didn't make here, some other plays I didn't make anywhere and counted some NBA 1 & 3 quarter losses as one loss instead of two; but don't tell the fish!)
Still, ya have to admit - NEVER before in the history of sports betting has ANYONE, EVER won that many games . . .

And, because sharing is nice, in case anyone missed it . . .

A column from a few years back. Somethings never change.

Things to Ponder While Waiting For Your Next Messiah

It happens every year.

The names change, sometimes the players do too, but the con is always the same. It’s called “Throw Some Shit at the Wall and Hope It Sticks.”

Multiple forums are invaded by the same group, under various names: MIT Boys, Sharpies, Bookie Insider, Tom, Dick, Harry, etc. Female names have proven to work exceptionally well - ClaireVoyant, Topless Sindy - as they appeal to your ignorance and hormones.

They seek to convince you they have access to something you don’t – a higher education, a sharp friend, inside info, a can’t-miss system.

They look to feed on the newbie and the ignorant, knowing their greed will cause them to lose common sense.

They post free plays.

If they lose, they disappear and come back at a later date to try again under a new name.

If they win, it’s “FISH ON!!!” You’ll do anything to get their next pick.

A few wins is all it takes to blind some bettors to reality, to fail to do the research, ask the relative questions and heed the warnings signs:

Is the record real?

Were all the plays in the record given at the site? (look closely)

Do records appear in some sports but not in others? Guess why. (NBA?)

Do a lot of new posters show up giving “testimony” to the greatness of the handicapper, praising their luck for having found him (and reminding you that you should be grateful, too) touting all the money they have made following him, and directing others to ignore the holes in the original story of why the capper is here, the disconnects, the contradictions, the obvious lies, and especially the posts by more experienced bettors who have seen this con again and again.

The Judas Goat leads the sheep to slaughter.

In the end, his e-mail is posted and deleted before the mods catch him, or the clues are dropped on how posters can find the “handicapper” and be part of his “special group.”

Doesn’t everybody want to be special? Be on the inside for once? Here is your chance!

Actually, no.

The real reason they have to stop posting free picks is because they know hot streaks are just that – streaks. But to losing bettors it’s seen as a truly mind boggling achievement, unheralded in the annals of sports betting history:
“This guy hit 70%!! That’s never happened before. He’s THE REAL THING - sign me up!”

You know why the scam is run again each year?

Because the perpetrators can’t cultivate repeat business.
Because they can only win short time; overall, they lose, but not as much as those who lose AND paid for their plays.

It’s happening right now. It’ll happen again. Each season brings a new group of sheep to fleece.

Caveat Emptor.

Just some things to ponder while you’re waiting for your next Messiah . . .
