Preseason betting

I started following the mall after regular season started last year so didn't get an idea on how many people bet the preseason. Is this something a lot of you feel there is a lot of easy money to be made on?

I heard on the radio yesterday the good cappers enjoy the preseason because they just bet with the coach who is more likely to go for the win. If you bet it are there any other tips you have when looking at a game?

It has a lot to do with the coach for sure. But I also look to see how long the starting line up is going to be in the game. Sometimes good teams like the Patriots, Steelers, Giants, will only play their starts 1 quarter sometimes less. Just because they are not going to risk getting their good players hurt and it is nothing more than a warm up session for them. Teams like The Browns, Oakland, 49'ers they will be putting a mixture of players in trying to establish who is going to start and who is going to sit. Rebuilding teams will do the same. They have some much to figure out in the 4 or 5 weeks of preseason alot of the time you get a good match-up with some starters on bad teams VS. second and third string players from the good teams, But this is just how I approch the pre-season. Some people may think I'm an idiot and say I don't know what I'm talking about. But you have my overview on the pre-season. Good Luck to you. also keep a watch on the public betting with presason. You are always going to have people that have no clue what to do in preseason except bet on team that has a great team. a great team does not play great players in meaningless games. so keep that in mind.

Actually it's the same science used in regular season handicapping, but you can't carry the same particles from preseason over into regular season.

For example: You can look for things that coaches say that develop in either winning or losing trends. If the last four coaches who said something to the effect of "I'm not saying how long I will leave my starters in" all won the game, then you might be able to use that information as a particle the next time a coach makes that type of comment.

For instance, the next coach that makes this comment is playing on the road against a team that will be premiering a free agent quarterback in his first start, and the last seven free agent quarterbacks that started their first game at home all lost their game... Then you can use science and information to pick winners.
