The Raiders are downright awful, but somehow they will win 3 games. I don't know how, but they will beat 3 teams. Al Davis aka "The Crypt Keeper" should just sell the damn team to someone that has an idea of how to run a franchise. From an overall "state of the franchise" standpoint, the Raiders are in worst shape than last year's 0-16 Lions team. Even bad coaches don't want the Raider job...

yeah im tired of people using al davis as an excuse. The players need to be held accountable too. russel is obviously not panning out like they thought.

You're correct on players accountability, but this organization drafts whoever Davis wants. No one gets drafted by the silver and black unless Davis approves. The head coach doesn't get a say in who the assistant coaches are. This might be a fabrication, but I've read rumors of Davis even trying to call a play or two. Davis gave the thumbs up to drafting Russell, Huff, Gallery, McFadden.....the list goes on an on.

wow line up to 8 at some places, i dont expect a blowout at all, while i think that the Chargers are a better team then the Raiders at this point I do expect the raiders to come out strong in that game being that its a home opener vs. a div rival. Chargers also maybe looking ahead to the 3 games after vs. all playoff teams of last year. I played Chargers -6.5 few weeks back in the hope that people would be on the Raiders to upset, lo not so sure now hopefully the Raiders play better next pre season game.

Im claiming Chargers win 27-17

after seeing denver tonight, and cassel being hurt sd should be a lock for the afc west. If they don't win it norvell should be fired.
