Raiders to Dump Hall

Rumor control reports that the Oakland Raiders are going to cut DB Deangelo Hall, eating his huge contract. This means that the Raiders paid this huge contract, and gave up a 2nd round draft pick, for 8 weeks of service.

As hard as Jerry Jones and the Cowbows try, they will never surplant the Raiders as the worst run organization in Sports, until Al Davis leaves that organization.

If they release him, someone else will pick him up so Oakland won have to eat too much of what they paid him. I think its funny when they are worrying about other players besides their QB. I still cant believe it wasnt that long ago Gannon had this team headed for the Super Bowl. wow

I am assuming he was the one covering Roddy White so I cant badmouth him, but if he wasnt, I would say this is a good move because Matt Ryan sliced through them with ease lol.

The next guy on the hit list is Javon Walker. If they cut him, he will have made almost 1 million dollars a catch this year lol. They gave him $11 mil signing bonus and $1 mil base and 13 catches in 7 games. Dont sign a high priced WR if you are going to continue to have the worst QB in the league starting.

So sad to because Hall is actually a great DB, but he has looked terrible this year. The problem is his attitude, every ****in play he is in a shoving match with someone right after. Another Virginia Tech Product.

Football contracts are not like baseball contracts- the only guaranteed money is the signing bonus. He made about 7 million when he signed the contract, and about 1 million so far this year, but the rest is history.

The release of Hall further confirms Al Davis is out of his freakin mind! The biggest problem in Oakland is the ownership. They should change the team colors from the Silver and Black to the Black and Blue. It will match the ass whippins they will get every week.

smokin a bong , pick of weeek this week ,
Because the talent level of all NFL teams is so close, a good spot to play-on a team is when they come off a shutout loss.
Over the last 5 years, there have been a total of 1,280 NFL games played.
There have been a total of 41 games in which one team was held scoreless.
So that averages out to just 8.2 times per year and about 3.2% of all games played.
A rare occurrence indeed.
NFL teams off a shutout loss are just 20-21 straight-up in their next game since 2003.
But, if you played any NFL team in their next game after a shutout loss, you would have gone
22-18-1 against the spread for a decent 55% winning angle over the last 5 years.

SINCE 2002 ***
Team Coach ATS Record After Getting Shut Out at Home since 2002 Next Game at Home Next Game on the Road
