I actually thought Cable deserved a new contract & a chance to see this through. I have come to the realization, as long as Al is at the controls, this team will just sputter along.

its a good hire IMO, sure Cable improved the team from 5-11 to 8-8 but Jackson improved the Offense a lot this year
we shall see how this unfolds but it was clear right or wrong Cable didnt have a future after last season with this team and now will likely be a Oline coach somewhere...
